Cleaning solutions

When using your Scrubo cleaning machines, choosing the right cleaning solution matters a lot.

✅ What to consider

  • Many floor‑scrubbing machines for commercial use recommend low‑foam, scrubber‑dryer‑compatible solutions so that the recovery tank and suction system work properly.
  • Use the correct dilution ratio (e.g., 1:100 or whatever the manufacturer says). Too strong = residue; too weak = poor cleaning.
  • Make sure the formula is compatible with your floor surface (e.g., sealed concrete, epoxy, tiles, rubber) and won’t damage machine parts (brushes, squeegees, hoses). Please see the manual for that.
  • Rinse or clean recovery tanks regularly, especially if you’re using concentrated chemicals, to avoid buildup or pump blockage.

🧼 Recommended cleaning solutions

  • Bona Multi‑Surface Floor Cleaner: Good for multiple surfaces; safe and trusted brand.
  • Bona Hard‑Surface Floor Cleaner: Focused on hard surfaces; good if your floor is sealed concrete, tile, etc.
  • Zep Neutral Floor Cleaner: Neutral pH, which is often recommended for industrial scrubbing machines to protect finish and machine components.
  • Quick Shine Multi‑Surface Floor Cleaner: More budget‑friendly; cleaner for general use.
  • SIMPLE GREEN All‑Purpose Cleaner: Eco‑friendly, good when you’re concerned about harsh chemicals.
  • Method All Purpose Deep House Cleaner: More for light duty or office settings, but still a good choice if scrubbing non‑heavy traffic areas.
  • Mop & Glo Multi Surface Floor Cleaner: Classic multi‑surface finish; maybe more suited to light traffic but useful.
  • Mrs. Meyer’s Clean Day Lavender Multi‑Surface Concentrate: Great scent and lighter duty; might be more consumer‑grade but still usable in certain areas.
  • OdoBan No Rinse Neutral pH Floor Cleaner Concentrate: No‑rinse is useful in large open spaces; neutral pH makes it safe on many surfaces.
