What is the difference between a walk-behind and self-propelled scrubber-dryer?

What is a Walk-Behind Scrubber-Dryer?

A walk-behind scrubber-dryer is a floor-cleaning machine that the operator walks behind and guides manually. You hold the handle, steer, and gently push the machine as it scrubs and dries the floor in a single pass.

What is a Self-Propelled Scrubber-Dryer?

A self-propelled scrubber-dryer assists with its own movement instead of being pushed by the operator. In the case of a walk-behind model, this means the machine has traction or drive power, so you still walk behind it but don’t need to exert much force to move it forward.
